I enjoyed this book in general, but I did find some of the short stories to be nonsensical. For a person who loves short stories, this book is a home run, it’s just not my ideal genre.

That said, many of the stories in this book were incredibly entertaining and thought provoking.

A fun little collection of tales, highlights include the micro Doctor Who story, set during the Matt Smith/Karen Gillian era, my personal favourite, as well as the American Gods Shadow Moon side story, which were most enjoyable.

I think the more I read of Neil Gaiman the more I realize I’m not a huge fan of his writing. While I enjoyed some of the stories in this book, most of them didn’t really grab me or interest me as much as I would have liked. I appreciated that he wrote a little intro for each story which gave some context behind why he wrote it.

Excellent, eccentric collection of stories. I very much enjoyed it.

Not my favorite Neil Gaiman book, but there were some lovely shorts in there. My favorite was probably the last, a continuation of Shadow's story from "American Gods." Excited for the upcoming show!

I got some definite chills and a couple gasps of surprise while reading so this was a solid grouping of creepy tales. Also the Shadow Moon story was just *chef's kiss* icing on the cake
