I enjoyed that this book truly stood alone. I’ve only read the first book in the series and that gave me some idea of the world but there was very little overlap, leaving plenty of space for the story to unfold.

I enjoyed the characters, both primary and secondary, and their development over time. The unfolding and growing understanding of the heroine’s history by her was particularly well handled and well thought out. I also enjoyed how the main characters worked through their final living arrangements at the end of the story.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Have to be honest. I spent a good part of this thinking about Tara and Jax-Xon

I loved Aliyah and Sirius! So wholesome and loving, both strong and open in their relationship - great combo!
Well written, good storyline and engaging characters, made me want to read more of this series (this was the first I’d read of the series as the blurb had caught my eye) I will definitely be reading some more in the future!!
