I loved everything about this story.
Briar Prescott has this amazing ability to write such tender, gentle and loving stories and to handle difficult situations the characters go through in a really sensitive way.
As someone on an ace spectrum, I have so much appreciation for Bas. The way he communicates about his needs, while at the same time feeling "not normal" and like he doesn't have enough to give was a really relatable and painful struggle.
These three came together in a way that made the relationship feel really real and lovely. They all struggled to feel like their presence mattered. But they're all important parts of the equation and necessary for one another.
I really loved the tactile nature of them all, and how intimate they were close, how close they got. How sex wasn't the core of their intimacy, but it was so much more.

This was just such a lovely read. Ezra, Drew and Bas found their peace and love within each other and it was amazing to go through it with them.

Okay, I was very wary to try this because it’s MMM and one of the characters is ace. But because it’s Briar Prescott (the queen herself) I decided to give it a try. And my god was I glad I did. Ezra is tall and lanky and the sweetest thing ever, he gives me Sherlock Holmes vibes, and he is the glue that holds them all together. Bas is average height, curly black hair and a short beard, ace, a musician and so funny. Drew is tall and a lawyer, very sweet and cute. The whole thing did a great job on highlighting the struggles of a poly couple. Between Drew’s issue with his parents and Ezras issues with acceptance Briar did a great job. There was only 2 sex scenes, the first with just drew and Ezra and the other with all three of them. Good scenes but the main thing was just the comfort and touchiness of all three of them. I admit this was a hard read as a touch deprived person but very sweet.

DNF @ 20%

I think I wanted to like this book more. It was refreshing to see an ace (asexual) representation. And it's a really sweet love story.

Each of the male love interests has issues, and all are explored. But Bas and Drew, although they have big blowout arguments, never really discuss their long history and release that tension; I longed for that apology and makeup.

Ezra is super cocky when we first meet him, but we soon discover that's just a front. But what's behind it is maybe a little too fragile? I think I wanted to see him retain some of that cockiness.

With one of the three being ace, it seems to subdue the passion of the other two. Their fiery first encounter isn't really regained. And maybe that's OK.

So, two young male professionals plus a college guy - it's a good mix. And I love the way they fit together.
There's definitely a realism which is really good to read.
It's well-written. I'm still recommending this book. But more as a 3.5* than a full 4*.
If you're looking for a M/M/M Polyamorous Romance incl. ace book, this is definitely worth a read.

I am so obsessed with Briar Prescott. This gave me ace rep, a beautiful poly throuple and so many tender, loving moments. My heart is so full. Also I love this « two best friends helplessly in love but too scared to take a risk, picking up a stray who turns out to be the missing piece they’d been needing all along », i LOVE THIS!

This was so cute I wanted to highlight everything, there was a bit of drama but I was so in love with all three of them they were truly perfect for each other. The pacing was nice and slow, and I loved the way it steadily grew into this beautiful thing they shared.

The book is boring. It's well written, so I didn't DNF it, hoping something would happen and nothing ever did.

The audiobook is not great. Read by John Solo, and he could be the total nerd character, but not great for all 3 men, 2 of which were supposedly pretty cool. -Not how it was read.

Baz is Ace. I always find these characters interesting, but in this book, he was only 2 dimensional, either at work or interacting as a friend. He had a vital part of the book, but I felt the real relationship was between Ezra and Drew, and Ezra was left out of intimacy, which Ace's craved, and he got nothing. The only "sex scene" was between Ezra and Drew, and it was only humping in bed between Ezra and Drew, Baz isn't even in the room.
This is less than 1 chili out of five, so I'm not even gonna put the chili icon on here.
The epilogue sucked because it was 4 years later and all about Ezra earning his college diploma. Of course, he was going to earn his diploma. Nothing else happened in 4 years? What?
Whatever. NEXT BOOK!

Definitely one of my favourite MMM books, would love to read more about them

So good❤
A book about 3 men who fit, find love, and forge a future together.

What I loved...

1. Drew: The handsome lawyer who is desperately in love with his best friend Bas. #BiggestHeart

2. Bas: The moody musical prodigy who is also in desperately in love with his best Friend Drew. #WhoAmIWithoutYou

3. Ezra: The college student and the man who brings them all together. #TheBestPartOfUs

4. Three men who balance each other out, each bringing something special to the relationship. #ItsUs

5. Angst-o-meter: Low angst. #BecauseImHappy

6. Romance and smiles.... #ThroughTheRoof

6. Steam-o-meter: Lowish steam and for good reason. I know that people would read MMM and low steam and would be like: DOES NOT COMPUTE. But it is for good reason, with the relationship takig center stage, and it's refreshing. #WhatWorksForUs

7. HEA: The sweetest, swooniest HEA #LeSigh
