This book really helped me stretch my thinking on how we teach and the role of assessment and feedback. My only hang up is that I'm still trying to figure out a graceless classroom in an educational model so entrenched (and obsessed!) with grades.

Loved the ideas. Wished a bit more acknowledgement of the struggle to shift from a traditional class to a student-centered class was in there to ground it in reality (it's there, just buried way at the back). Also, the "this is the best way to be teaching and everyone needs to do it" may be off-putting for teachers who aren't there yet.
