Mom gave me for Christmas in 2023 – I really liked it. It is very heavy on motherhood but still good.

"Let's not begin the poem with and, Though it begins that way"
Good Bones is probably my favorite poem of all time, and there is so much wonderful stuff in here.

Very motherhood centric, which is not my jam and that definitely colored my feelings on this collection. I didn’t feel drawn to any poem although there was a few lines thought the collection that drew me in.

The themes of motherhood and childhood are consistent and make it a very interesting read.

I loved this collection and found it so nourishing and beautiful to read late into my pregnancy with my second child.
