Despite my lower rating I did enjoy the book. The narrators were great and the dialogue wasn’t super cheesy. I found the attempts to give the  main characters backstories fair but they were not fleshed out enough. I enjoyed the romance aspects and I thought there was enough plot outside of the romance to make reading the filler pages worth it. Overall, as a book I read as part of the catalogue available with an audible membership - I’d say it was worth it

Adam has been in love with Hayden since the moment he set eyes on her and that's when I knew I would love this book. Yes, it was a bit cheesy but it had a hero that was super sweet and just a touch of enemies to lovers thrown in. I adored these two, but mostly him.
