Finding love pre-pandemic was hard enough, but June really feels the pain of 2+ years of pandemic disconnect. Both her love life and career are struggling as she navigates this new reality and stumbles on something seemingly too good to be true while chaperoning sleep away camp for her students. June and Colin’s connection is full of adorable one liners, awkward moments, just the right amount of steam. Even if you’re not an educator, the struggles of navigating the world today are highly relatable and highlight the complexity of both main character. In spite of the inclusion of such challenging topics, this was a delight to read! I can’t wait to see what Nellie Wilson releases next!
