Sooo conflicted on this one, and while I'm glad to be able to say I've read it now, I wouldn't read it again, and can't say I enjoyed it. It was written in a fairly strong way, but the plot has never sat nicely with me, and when you take away the catchy songs, the story is really hard to swallow.

I didn’t think I’d care for this book and while the story was weird, somewhat frightening and it was too sad imo at times, it had some really good and moving parts in it, as well. Overall, a good book, with some definite things I’d change.

it was a good book, it may be fast-paced for me since i already knew the plot from a couple videos, (and the musical shhh) but it was a great read. i was forced to read it within 3 days too, so that may be why.
