I finished it!!!!!! I've only been "reading" this since I don't even know when. 2019 or something. It's 2023 now. I did it!!! I finished!!!!
It has to be said that for as long as I drug this out, no matter how much time there was in between reading, it was never hard or confusing to go back to. Thats a big deal!
Whew!

I remember reading a significantly abridged version of this book when I was in elementary school, but this is my first time reading the complete story. Three words: Jo is everything.
Sometimes the story got too blatantly moralistic for my tastes, and I’d lose interest. I require less overt moral lessons, like those within Harry Potter and LOTR. But anything that was Jo’s story, I was into it. I enjoyed the other sisters, but I didn’t fully connect with them as individuals--only as Jo’s sisters.
