Hero was an idiot and pushed the heroine away, I know it was a novella but the issues in their relationship was wrapped up way too quick. Wasn't a big fan of this but will try the rest of the series!

Mitch Bradford is a broody alpha hero who is having a hard time not lusting after his best friends little sister. Laurel Daley is a smart and strong women who has been through a lot in her life and is willing to put in all on the line for love. She knows that getting Mitch to realize that they are perfect together will be an uphill challenge since he has more baggage than an airport but she is not going to let that stop her. I love a good broody hero who does not think he is good enough for the heroine story. Lexi does an amazing job in portraying the emotion of both Mitch and Laurel and though there is some angst it makes the book that much sweeter. This book has some major heart flutter moments and introduces us to Remy and Lisa who have an AMAZING book Close Cover. So if you are looking for a great quick read with a broody hero, a sassy heroine, steamy love scenes, humor and some action then this is the book for you!

Adored is exactly what this short and sweet novella is!

Mitch and Laurel don't seem to have a ton in common except their sexual chemistry. And when they let it go, it seriously is electric! Dang, yea...it's electric!

Mitch, I found him to be kinda annoying with his policies and rules. Though at the same time, I kind think maybe he's a bit more what real Dom's are like out in the real world. So I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I think of him.

Laurel, she's a bit more of calm than most people would be in the positions she finds herself. Like seriously....panic a bit woman! HAHAHA

Oh...and Lexi....that is a freaking heart wrenching cliff hanger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall, it always a great and amazing continuation of one of my favorite series, Masters and Mercenaries!

Uhhhhh, so yeah let's break this one down so it's easy to understand.
The main novella: A whole lot of nope.
She was a pain in the ass.
He bordered on abusive.
The Epilogue: A whole lot of WTF?!?!?!

Do I even want to go Onward?

First book by this author and first from the series (Masters & Mercenaries)...

A fairly quick read, Adored was a bit uneven overall. Many series characters show up in this one; I didn't really feel like I was missing crucial information, but it was kind of like being the new kid at the lunch table at times. I didn't warm up to Mitch right away, but he more than made up for it at the end--in fact, the ending was one of the strong points of the story. The mystery/suspense part of the plot was rushed--though I did like the "who saved the day" twist to it.

So...would I read more from this author? Yes. More from this series? Probably.

Rating: 3 1/2 stars / B-

I have been waiting for this instalment - cause let's just say waiting for Ten's book isn't going all that well for me! >.<

Those women are serious about their book boyfriends

From this moment, I was done for! I stuck by Laurel, because let's face it we fangirls need to stick together and in this instance, Mitch was being an ass.

But I loved their chemistry, their dialogue and everything in between! Definitely a worth it novella <3
