Although I love how Katie Prior writes wonderfully sweet MMCs, such as Vladys in this book, I found Gwen way too frustrating. She looked down on her co-workers who were just making casual small talk, prided herself in being a slob (and no, I don't just mean the comfort way), and was ridiculously OTT whilst also claiming to be keeping her boundaries?
I don't mind introverts, and I don't mind general annoyance with coworkers, but Gwen was insufferable. And, just to top it all off, all this ridiculousness was happening at a work retreat? I was cringing a little at that.

this is definitely my least favorite of the series. it was engaging at first but then it just got boring. i literally was just skimming the last like 30 pages & it just didn’t do it for me. honestly i should have dnfed it sooner but ehh.
