3.5 stars. Cute blend of story and hints of real life as Jimmy tells the story of kids publishing books for kids. References many of Patterson's kid's series along with tons of great children's literature. Emphasizes Patterson's publishing philosophy of writing and publishing books that kids love so much they beg for more.

The jokes in this book tend to be corny, but it has a very inspirational story for younger readers. Basically, don’t give up on your dreams and embrace the magic of reading. I especially liked how the author describes the books and real life events that inspired him.
