Short review.

Wow this was a fantastical book. I really loved the characters and also sooooo happy to see Anna and Etienne around again!!!

The romance was good, though I didn't always like the main character, she knew about the boy loving her and still she just dragged him around everywhere.

I didn't like the parents either. Overprotective much? Biased much? I know the boyfriend wasn't the best, but to have so much trouble with him, to make life so difficult for him.. NO, just NO. NO parent should do that, it will just ruin things, and make your kid not like you or unhappy.
And how they reacted to the other boy, so different. He didn't have to do anything, he was just accepted.. parents...

But it was a cute read, I can't wait for the next book to come out! Hopefully soon.

It was a quick read. I couldn't put the book down. It didn't have many frustrating moments at all. Every time I was nervous it would get frustrating, the characters said their honest feelings or someone turns out to be not important and so on. I would love a few more chapters now that Lola and Cricket are finally free to express their feelings! Hopefully I see them in Isla.

Also, Lola's best friend Linsey is Korean!

Wow wow wow. Stephanie Perkins has done it again. I know I'm late to the party with this one but it was just so good. I could relate to Lola more than I could relate to Anna but I felt like Anna's story was more emotionally charged. Still such an incredible story for Lola. Perkins is so good at writing lovable male characters that I think I am actually in love with Cricket Bell.
