I would definitely call this a guilty pleasure kind of book. I loved being transported away to New York and following Angela on an adventure I'm sure a lot of us would love to have (minus the whole Mark situation). It was a nice easy read with relatable characters and entertaining events and I'm looking forward to seeing where the rest of the series goes.

I loved Lindsay Kelk's newer books so I was keen to jump into the I Heart series! This book follows the main protagonist Angela as she flees to New York after finding her fiancee cheating on her at her best friends weddings. I was expecting more of a romance in this book but it followed Angela as she dates and finds herself in NYC. It was like reading about a British Carrie Bradshaw. I'll be reading the rest of the series and hoping for some more romance!

This is chic lit at its best.
Is it corny and unrealistic? Of course! But it makes you heart all warm and fuzzy and just gives you all the feels.

Starting off with a heartbreak, it’s a great story of finding yourself and learning you don’t need a man (until a hot one may come along 😜)

Funny and heart warming, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series

Worst book ever. Full of run-on sentences and at one point one character said “Monday’s [sic] are really bad for me”. Laughable plot. If you like this you have jelly for brains.

A very interesting story about a twenty six year old British girl named Angela who catches her boyfriend cheating on her and moves to New York. At the hotel she stays at, she makes a friend called Jenny who takes her shopping and gives her a makeover. Then, Angela meets these two totally fabulous guys, finds herself with a blogging job, and practically a whole new life.
I love the ending, and it was so sweet and amazing, I wanted to give it 5 stars. Then I remembered all the crap in the begining and how stupid Angela was about her boyfriends and how slutty she acted, i had to give it 4 stars. Maybe 4.5
Either way, I loved it. Its about finding out who you really can be and moving on in life.

Re-reading this in 2023 is like going back to an old, home comfort movie. I love Lindsey Kelk's writing and have been a big fan for a number of years so read everything she puts out.

It's been ages since I've read the full I Heart Series and I wanted to revisit to pick up all the crossover characters and easter eggs. I have really enjoyed getting back to the beginning of Angela's story.
