I didn’t like the way it ended (though it was appropriate for the genre). I would’ve liked to hear more about Ennis and the other friends she made on the fishing boat.

I never describe books this way, but this was hauntingly beautiful. I love a sad book, and this one hit the mark. Sad in the setting, the dystopian state of the world, and the life of the main character. Absolutely loved this.

This book broke my heart into a million tiny pieces so many times. It's just so sad and yet incredibly beautiful. It gets love so right: among humans in its different forms and towards nature.
There's so much more to say about it but right now I'll say it's become one of my favorite books.
