Mind Game, book 2 of the Ghostwalkers series, by Christine Feehan @authorcfeehan. So excited to reread this series! 🤩

I thoroughly enjoyed this book about Nicolas & Dahlia! If you like MF, psychic abilities/PNR, both MMc & FMC military operatives, secret testing, spontaneous fire starting & instalove then this is the book for you!

I enjoyed rereading this second book more than the first, this one features Nicolas Trevane and Dahlia Le Blanc. I was interested in learning more regarding Nicolas as he has such intriguing origins and seemed such an enigma in what I've witnessed so far. So Nicolas is the ghostwalker that is sent to retrieve Dahlia one of the lost girls from the doctor's videos. Her abilities are massive and she appears dangerous and highly volatile hence Nicolas stepping up for the retrieval.

This second book had a faster pace than its predecessor and this was non-stop action and danger throughout. I liked both Dahlia and Nicolas and they had explosive chemistry together and in more ways than one. The romance was once again old-school cheesy but I was kind of digging the vibe, it was kinda adorable, especially seeing the usually stoic silent in control Nicolas lose his shit over this tiny but powerful powerhouse of a woman.

This was enjoyable, I especially liked the banter between the ghostwalkers and how much of a family they've become. I'm probably going to read book three soon and for the moment these are giving me lots of feelings of nostalgia.

Not my favourite, but then I started with Team 4 (Whatt, Joe, Trap etc.,) over on book 11. This one didn't really gel well for me at all. But I guess one or 2 out of the whole series isn't bad!

I enjoyed book 2 more than the first. I liked the relationship between Dahlia and Nicholas but most of all I enjoyed seeing Dahlia’s growth with other people. I’m still most intrigued in the overall story and how everything is going to play out. I will be continuing on with the series.
