I think this book is a perfect culmination of all those before it in the series and a perfect way to end. This book brought back points and storyline’s from all the books before, tying them together and making them form a picture so detailed and thought out.
The only thing I was disappointed about was I only ever teared up once - no actual tears - even though there were so many points that could have been more emotional.

I am so glad I finally read the Harry Potter series. Now I know why it is has been such a favorite for many for all these years. I didn't want the story to end and I definitely don't want to leave the characters behind.

Okay. First, let's take a moment to appreciate the fact that I DID IT!! I READ HARRY POTTER!! I'm almost 24 years old and I honestly thought I would never read Harry Potter, I just didn't felt like it, but this year I finally wanted to read it and, god, I'm go glad I did. I believe there's a right time to read or watch a book/movie/tv show and, to be honest, I don't regret that I waited to read the books until now, because I'm not sure I would have fully grasped everything that happens if I had read it when I was a kid or a teen (I sure af didn't get it when I watched the movies). Sure, I won't have the same connection to the books that the people that grew up with them but still, I'm really happy that I got to discover how wonderful the books and the characters are because the movies don't do them justice.

About the Deathly Hallows:
- The book was really good, it had a lot of action and emotion right from the beginning, I was feeling very emotionally attacked.
- Hermione and Ron, fucking finally!!! They had a lot of small but great moments in here.
- We get a lot of backstory about different characters, the one about Regulus Arcturus Black was my favourite. I really liked what came out of that too with Kreacher.
- There are so many deaths in the books, why?! And they are not small ones, they are heartbreaking and it fucking sucked. I don't even want to talk about it.
- Lastly, Harry Potter. I feel for everyone in this book but Harry most of all. I swear I get choked up just thinking about all that he goes through. He was a kid who just wanted to be with his parents. A kid who had to carried a responsability he shouldn't had have to. Honestly, I love that kid, I could keep going on and on about all that makes Harry Potter a great character. These books have made me love Harry Potter a lot more than I was expecting and his story will be something I'll carry in my heart forever.
