I have a hard time with non fiction but I enjoyed some of the stories in this novel.

Really amazing book. Took me longer to read because there were multiple stories. But each one I read whenever I had a little moment to myself and needed some spicy.

Im giving this a 4 star rating because sometimes I wish there had been more to the stories

Overall there’s a lot of misses in this - some stand outs though include the two “overnight train” stories, the Brooklyn Book Fair one, the Rapunzel retelling, and the very last story.

I'm not sure what I was expecting out of this anthology but I definitely didn't get it. This is a perfect example of why everyone can't right erotica in my opinion. I was very underwhelmed and a bit flabbergasted at which stories were published in this collection. What a disappointment.

The concept is great - short romance stories written by well-known authors, except you only get an alphabetical list of their names so you don't know who wrote what - but most of the authors took the opportunity to write something weird and really out there. There's a couple real bangers, but by the last 1/3 I was just skimming.

What would you write if you wrote a short story about sex? Would your story be sexy? Sweet? Thrilling? Abstract? Alien? ANONYMOUS SEX a bit of everything. This is not a collection of solely spicy/smutty stories, but rather a collection stories contemplating “desire.” I enjoyed the different ways authors approached the topic, some really making me think. The reader must embrace each story's unique style and fall into its cadence and world. You may not enjoy all of these stories; however, there will be something for you because of its multifaceted nature. Giving the authors anonymity allows for a unique freedom, and knowing the contributors but not their story creates an intriguing puzzle as you try to pinpoint who's who. Give it a try and see what you find.

I'm not a huge fan of erotica as it can easily be very boring or require a high level of suspension of belief. I wanted to read this anthology of short stories as I found the blurb fascinating.
I liked some stories and found others quite boring.
Not my cup of tea.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
