I enjoyed this book. It was hard at times. I knew how the book ended before I started it while this was the diary of a teenage who wrote about her life.

Anne Frank didn't write about the Holocaust (as it was not known in its entirety until after her death), but elements of Germany's machinations are hinted at and referenced to unknowingly so CW for Holocaust and genocide.anniereads221's review against another edition

There's really not much I can say to It! When at first I heard of It, I didn't really thought the diary was made by an actual real kid, and that It was just fiction, but when I read It and confirmed It... was a huge shock for me! the whole diary has so many interestings things, while It would inform you on how these people had to live In hide to keep themselves safe, It would also explain things that family would do to keep sanity! It made me sad <to know that sadly this kid couldn't finish her diary and either have the chance to live the live she so much expected, and wanted to live.> but Im still so Impressed by her writing skills, this Is a must read as you will feel although sadness, also fullfillment from It, made me learn and understand so much! 10/10

This book talks about the life of people who were being targetted and had to run and hide and being confined for their own safety, as this book take part of a diary of a Jewish girl on the Second World War, so If you feel highly sensitive on the topic that time was (Racism, Antisemitism, War, Violence and etc.) I wouldn't recommend reading this book until you feel ready to read about this issues, but I still highly recommend reading this book to understand more about this whole topic, as for me the more informed you are, the better you can understand.rosalie362819's review against another edition
