john green was kind of a weirdo for this one, tbh
wouldn't read again (again), but it was fun to revisit a book i haven't read since high school. doesn't hold up, but i still like some of the themes

💫📈 I enjoyed reading this book, the humour and chemistry between the characters. However, sometimes I lost interest...I wish there was more it that humour, it like something was missing; I expected more.

Ei niin hyvä kuin odotin. Olisin ehkä nuorempana tykännyt enemmän😅 Silti ihan luettava kirja ja mielenkiintoiset henkilöhahmot.

I bought this book years ago and it’s just been chilling in my TBR pile until now. I think partly because John Green writes amazing, deep, tragic, teenage love stories and I’m not always in the mood for that. But the day came, and I loved this book. It was deep and the characters were all so smart and multifaceted, they were like real kids fighting through all the ups and downs they have to face daily, while still trying to be silly and have fun.

an incredible exploration of a strongly unreliable narrator, and an even more notable realistic representation of guilt and grief
