"Be patient with yourself and trust the process."

Not my favourite Lauren Asher book but if you compare it with her Dreamland series?? This is a massive improvement. I just think the length of this book at times was too much like 530 pages for a romance at times feels a lot but I didn't mind it that much for it to ruin my experience. I feel like when it comes to mental health reps, Lauren Asher does a stunning job at depicting the reality of it and how it affects the characters. I would say the book had a weird on and off pacing at times I was hooked and couldn't stop reading but there would be moments where I would count the pages to see when a chapter would end. I also don't understand why use so many Spanish words

i couldn't stop reading it and you really get the feeling like you're a part of their world and families
i would kinda like there was more drama
the ending dragged a little bit but the part where we find put that he owned the house the whole time made up for it
if it was more drama it would probably be rated higher
but i admire how she managed to intrigue me with ordinary life scenes over a 500 pages and i never felt bored once
i loved each character so much and the more i think about this book the more i fall in love with it
❤️
building a gazebo for her
having pros/cons list for her that he was making for more then a decade and there was only one con (she might not feel the same)
sushi
ring
literally everything he did for her showed how much he cared and remembered every little detail about her and what she ever mentioned

Starts off with a bang.
Snappy, fun dynamic between the kids of lifelong friends who grew up challenging each other in every way, unless something big got in the way.
Lived their draw to each other, their families, the project and chemistry. (WHEW, that chemistry!)
Started the next book as soon as I got to the end of this.
