So its 4:43am and I spent the last two and a half hours getting lost in truly an amazing book.

I have no idea where to start other then omg.

I honestly had no idea what The Unbecoming of Mara Dyerwas about nor did I read other reviews. I picked it up as it was one of the books on a top 100 list.

A very dark gripping book about a girl suffering PTSD which is all saying as you should find out for yourself whe. You read this amazing YA book that I. My opinion is not like your usual YA.

As for the romance and yes there is romance. I both loved and hated Noah. Loved him for how he was there for Mara and hated because I dont like cocky guys but he is worth to love as he also has a british accent.

This is an incredible debut. Michelle Hodkin is an author that is very talented. Definitely recommend!!

What? That was it? I'm a little confused. I thought it was a dark contemporary romance but turns out it's paranormal. I must say, I'm quite disappointed. The first 60-70% was great, with the mystery and all that. Noah was dreamy and perfectly imperfect but he kinda became lame in the near end.

Guess I'm not going to the book signing next week. The only reason I will read the sequel is because of Noah. And I hope it has answers to the confusioN I was left with.

honestly this book is really original and unique to me. i’ve never read a book with a similar plot. to me the vibes are reminiscent of twilight as it has quite a depressed tone and ‘blue filter’ over it. i feel bad for mara honestly… i found the gradual progression of her condition to be really interesting and i just had to keep reading. it also helps that she has one fineeee boyfriend 😏 luv u noah 😘
