Une lecture très plaisante ! Les personnages sont réussis même les secondaires. Et j'ai aimé l'ambiance générale.
L'enquête casse pas 3 pattes à un canard mais franchement, j'étais plus emballée d'en savoir plus sur les personnages et de les voir évoluer dans leur petit village que de vraiment savoir le pourquoi du comment de l'intrigue. ^^

Je lirais les suites parce que je me suis investie dans les personnages !

I don't read a lot of crime novels but I was pretty excited to try this cosy mystery. It turned out to be very disappointing. I found the writing style clumsy (I don't know to what extend it may be linked with the French translation) and the characters uninteresting. I liked the idea of a small community where everybody knows everybody but the narration focuses more on the characters relationships than on developing the plot and the investigation takes ages to really start. To cap it all, I guessed who was the murderer before half of the book.
