Loved it! I recently read “wishing for someday soon” by Tiffany King and that was a very similar story. But that book was a 5 star read for me. This one is not, (which might be because I just read that other book) because the ending felt really rushed to me. I also feel like even though we know certain things about how the mom acts, I wanted the character to be more fleshed out.
I read this book in a day and had trouble putting it down. Stories like these are right up my alley, but I don’t think they’re for everyone as it can be quite emotional. It’s a good read and important, because people DO live like this and these stories DO happen. I loved the school aspect of this story more than Tiffany Kings’ book.

An amazing story made more powerful by the excellent narration. Definitely try to listen to it instead of reading it.
