This book took me a very long time to get through because there was so much to digest. I often reread, highlighted, and noted in hopes that I could really absorb the information. I have a feeling I’ll be rereading this book for years to come as each time I’ll take something new depending on the time of life I’m in!

Another solid John Maxwell book. Admittedly i powered through this which is not the purpose that this book was written. This would be better absorbed slowly putting various learnings into practice. Flagging this as one to come back to as I think it would be good to work through with others. Particularly a team that you’re trying to see their own potential.

This book had some great nuggets of wisdom but overall this felt like a book written by a white, straight, Christian man for other white, straight, Christian men.

Lots to consider and unpack... even though I finished the book. I will be revisiting my notes frequently.

Most of this book felt like common sense a few exercises were interesting but nothing wonderful.

Lots of suggestions on how to improve oneself. I cherry-picked a few ideas but enjoyed the book overall.

Read this for a book club with my team and really enjoyed it I wish there was a blank page next to each reflection page to kind of be like a workbook and jot down the reflections next to the questions.
