Short Review -
This book was a interesting run with pirates, I think that it had wonderful characters and may be great for younger readers who are looking to get in to YA books. That being said the story was where the book brought upon problems. The story was well connected and fast pace how ever I really do wish that we were able to learn more about the characters and their troubles rather than their biggest strengths. Other than that this book was a wonderful read that I would recommend to any ready 12+.

I read this book in a day and I enjoyed it. I have never read a book about pirates before but it was cool.
There were no big surprises or plot twist (except for one unexpected thing which I didn't like). I did really like the main characters though.

It was pretty average in my opinion but I still had a great time reading it and I will definitely be reading the second book.

Morals of alley cats, these ones. 
If you don't mind that (what else can you expect from pirates, honestly), then read at your own risk. 

Here be casual, cold-blooded killing; thievery; seduction; torture; promiscuity; and general immorality. To be fair, the characters' consciences do prick them - if they are romantically or familially involved with someone. And it's rare.
