This makes me want to read more roller skating related books. If I can hunt some down. I liked 3/5 stories so that’s why it’s 3/5 stars. But it was all really cute.

very cute collection of short stories about various members of a roller derby team falling in love (and in one case, falling back in love ;)).

all of the stories were incredibly diverse and relatable. i wish they were all a little longer considering this book had five short stories and was only 83 pages. but i understand that the purpose of short stories is to be ~short~

Low Spice

This was a cute collection of budding romance stories. Each chapter focused on a different woman from the roller derby team. I thought that was a creative connection to weave throughout the book. I appreciated the closed door romance trope. There wasn’t much more than kissing on the page. Sometimes I prefer that. Each story had a sweet ending. The final story in this installment was silly to me, but it ended well. This is was a nice way to close out my month of reading.
