All I Want is a romance novella by M. Elliott. It’s a Christmas time romance all wrapped up in one little story and I enjoyed it! I will admit I’m not usually a fan of novellas because I find I’m just getting into them and they are over but I didn’t really get that feel from this one. Yes it was fast paced but it didn’t feel rushed and I didn’t feel like there was anything missing or anything was skipped over quickly. It was really well written and everything I could want from a novella.

The story is about Adrianna, who after losing her parents a few years earlier has thrown herself into work, never missing a day or taking a vacation but after winning a contest at work she finds herself heading to Siesta Sands with her brother and best friend. Adrianna hasn’t been to Siesta Sands and the family holiday home since her parents died. What Adrianna doesn’t expect is to find her brothers best friend (and secret love of her life) Eric there, especially when she realises that the feelings she had for him all those years ago are still there.

I liked the characters in the story and there was just enough background information woven into the story that you could get a good feel for them even though the story was short.

All in all a lovely holiday romance story that is easy to read and will leave you feeling all warm inside!

I give 4 stars to All I Want by M. Elliott.

All I Want is a story about how you can overcome grief to be happy. This book will make you feel happy and sad at different times. This book makes you realize that the dreams you have when you are young can come true when you are older.

Adrianna Lutz is a young woman who loses her parents in an accident during the holidays. She is a workaholic who finds it easier to forget her wishes and dreams then it is to be reminded about a future that will never be. She is forced to vacation when she wins a paid time off at the office holiday party. She decides that the family home that she owns with her brother is a good place. There she reunites with an old childhood crush. Will she finally make her dreams come true?

Eric Wayne is Adrianna's brother's best friend and her old childhood crush. He finds himself at the family home because of a mix-up at the resort he made reservations at. Adrianna is now a grown woman and not the child he remembers. Will he see the woman she is today?

Adrianna and Eric's story will keep you reading until the end. It will keep you cheering for Adrianna as she steps out of her comfort zone. Will their crush finally be real? Will Adrianna finally put her grief in the past? Will Eric make Adrianna's dreams come true?

This is a first read for me by M. Elliott. Her writing gives her a reason to talk to the voices in her head. She calls the Lone Star state her home and you can usually find her on the beach. This book kept me wanting more. I wanted to find out what would happen with Adrianna and if her dreams come true. I enjoyed this book and found it to be a great read. I would suggest reading it, it will keep you wanting more.

All I Want is the first book in the Barefoot Holidays Series, By M. Elliott. This book is a ‘sweet as cherry pie’, feel good, holiday romance.
Adrianna Lutz (Dria) is 23 years old and the youngest Ad Manager working at her Company. Christmas is fast approaching and since her parents died in a plane crash quite close to Christmas, four years ago-Christmas just isn’t the same. She would prefer to just be left alone. But instead, she is obligated to attend the work Christmas Party...BAH!!!
“A dental exam would have been more fun, Adrianna thought, sitting poised in her chair, hoping her annual office party would soon be over”.
Hearing her name announced as the winner of the holiday package in the company’s Christmas competition- is a complete shock to Adrianna. She doesn’t do holiday’s, they come with too many memories that she doesn’t want to have to deal with. Work has become her life and she hasn’t missed a day in 3 years. But there is no getting out of it. So, she invites her brother Kellan and her best friend Louisa, and set off to ‘Siesta Sands’.
When they arrive, Adrianna discovers that her brother has invited his best friend along, also….. Oh, that’s just great!!! Just what she doesn’t need, two weeks of having to be around the one man she can’t seem to get out of her head- her ‘fantasy’ man that she has been infatuated with since she was a young girl. The same guy, who rejected her when she was 16 years old, and broke her heart!
Eric Wayne, with his chiselled body, perfect skin and piercing amber eyes- had always been a part of the Lutz’ lives. As Kellan best friend, they did everything together and there weren’t many memories that he wasn’t part of. But, could he ever see Adrianna as more than Kellan’s annoying little sister? Adrianna wasn’t going to give him the opportunity to hurt her ever again. Then why is he able to make her swoon every time he looks at her?
“Every time he looked at her it made her feel as if she were stripping off every stitch of clothing, standing before him completely naked and exposed”.
Ms. Elliott has written a very good, delightful story. It is a short novella and as such, a quick read. The story leaves you feeling good. The characters are likeable and the chemistry between Adrianna and Eric is passionate- the intimate moments are more erotic, rather than explicit.
I really enjoyed the story, but felt that I was ‘just getting into it’ and it was finished. I would have liked to have had more.
This book can be read as a stand-alone and ends with a H.E.A.
This is the first book of the Barefoot Holiday series and I am intrigued to see what Ms. Elliott has in store for us in her next book.

All I Want begins when tragedy strikes Adrianna. She loses her parents in a plane crash piloted by her father. Pilot error was the first reason for the accident, but the official report stated plane malfunction as the cause. She believes she has no bright future now. All her hopes and dreams went down with her parents on that plane.
After an extensive beauty session performed by her friend, to get her ready for a work holiday party, where a holiday bonus is the the prize the company gives to one lucky employee every year. Her ex, who she remained friends with, cancels on her, so she takes her friend Louisa as her plus one.
At her party, Adrianna wins the bonus, which is time to take a much deserved holiday. She chooses to go to Siesta Sands, where her childhood family holiday home is situated. She has not been back there since she lost her parents, so this holiday will be bittersweet. She invites Louisa and her brother Kellan to take the trip with her.
Her brother has a last minute delay, and says he will meet them there later in the day. Once they land, she is walking through the airport and she hears, “Dria.” That voice is a voice she has not heard in years. It belongs to her brothers friend, Eric. Even though it has been years, he still manages to make her heart race and leave her breathless. She also works out that he is the “friend’ that her brother talked of inviting.
She reminisces about all the things she loves about Eric. She has had a crush on him since she was a teenager, but was relegated to best friends sister status. They shared a kiss at a party she was at when she was still a teenager, but Eric shot her down and told her to grow up! But now they are all grown up, he doesn’t look at her very brotherly at all. He has lust in the looks he bestows upon her.
They both give in to their urges in a night of passion and seduction, when Kellan and Louisa are on a 2 day cruise around Siesta Sands. And it is electric. But when
Adrianna overhears Eric tell Kellan someone had to babysit Adrianna, instead of going on the cruise, broke her heart.
Adrianna tries to make Eric jealous after a night of drinking and dancing, but she is a tad too drunk to make any sense. Once she drunkenly spills all her hopes, dreams and desires for him, Eric reveals he is on the same page. He goes about trying to cross items off the list she made when she was 8 years old.
A truly enjoyable book that kept the intrigue going steadily all throughout. Their coming together passionate and sweet. This is a tale about a love that developed in childhood, lasting through the growing stage, to prosper in adulthood. Love can really stand the test of time, the flame never waning. The result of years of denied feelings and repressed desire is a relationship that can withstand all that is thrown there way and an everlasting love.
The author has a nice, steady style, and although there is loss and heartache, delivers to readers a classy and highly entertaining read.
