science fiction is not my go to for reading. (it's romance lol) no romance in this book but such an absolutely amazing book. one of the best books I've ever read. LOVED IT

It was good… but seriously… am I the only person who felt like I was reading a freaking science textbook through half the book (astrophysics, chemistry, biology, take your pick)? There are only so many times I can listen to/read someone recite mathematical equations aloud before I lose interest entirely. It was made worse by the pacing, which was off. Things realllllly drag in the middle, and the beginning, and at the end, too, maybe?
I will say, I got wonderful advice to consume this as an audiobook and I’m so glad that I did because it really did justice to some of the characters.
