What do Rob Zombie's Michael Myers and Cinderella's step-mother have in common? Read on if inquiring minds want to know.

Ok... I'm definitely not in the norm on my rating... and I'm ok with that. Too often, I try and force myself to like something everyone else does but I just can't here.

Just as Rob Zombie's rendition of Michael Myers had me feeling sorry for him and actually sympathizing with ending up the way he did, so did this telling of Lady Tremaine's 'fairy tale'. It was no wonder they ended up the way they did and I felt sorry for her to until the end. She was horridly abused and mistreated and while she ended up doing the second in the end, I kinda get it! I can't imagine going through what she did and ending up anything else but a monster... hmmm... just like Michael Myer's in the RZ version! They didn't have a chance.

Just as my disappointment in my favorite thriller villain having a reason, I felt the same here. I like when the evil are just evil. I didn't want to feel sorry for them, they are bad guys!

Fast paced and easy to read, I am just not a huge fan of the Cinderella / Lady Tremaine storyline in general. An interesting insight into the hopes and let downs of love and the impact of selfish parenting.

So idk about this one. I felt very sorry voor Lady Tremaine, disliked sir Richard. But what was wrong all of a sudden with Circe?

I was glad reading about the odd sisters again after Evil thing but I do feel a bit confused rather then enlightened. I also have a feeling Serena goes darker and darker with her books atm.
