Solid noir with the vibe aided by the art, but it didn't blow my mind or make me really really really want to pick up the next volume.

Conceptually and storytelling-wise, this is very good. Some rough moments in the dialogue, but otherwise good. The art, by contrast, is a total miss for me, so I'm not sure I'll check out the rest of the series.
