This worked far better than the last book. I do wonder about the difference in time that is going on. I don't believe Jordan ever had us jumping back and forth between different people at different times before. If he did it was handled much better. Tam is especially confusing in regards to the time jumps. Also some of the characters leave character at times, Berlain and Alliandre for example. This has you wondering if they are under compulsion or dark friends, when really they are just out of character. The end of the prologue is quite strange and is a funny place to end the book. Still I enjoyed the story, and it had many good parts, just more awkwardness than we have gotten in the first few books.
