This book got me out of a months-long reading slump and now I fear there might be a book hangover of epic proportions.

I don’t usually read YA or enjoy them as much as I enjoyed this one, but I felt myself getting so involved in the four main characters lives and stories and I was hooked until the very end.

I started seeing little things that made me think about the twist at the end (without giving away spoilers) but it was so much more involved than I thought and it was really just a good, well rounded book

Oh man, this was so freaking intense!! and it totally was getting 5 stars from, but I kind of had a theory and it was right, and I HATE IT WHEN I PREDICT THE ENDINGS RIGHT.

So, One Of Us Is Lying a mystery surrounding 4 high-school students who find themselves accused of the murder of a classmate, who was killed while the five of them were in detention. The story picks up after it becomes known that all four suspects had something to hide and the victim was the only one who knew about it.

In this books, we read from the different point of views of the four suspects which made the book even more interesting, and just seeing how each one of them thinks and how they contributed directly and indirectly to the murder of their classmate, while unravelling the circumstances surrounding the crime made it more realistic and sometimes even relatable, and even more mysterious.

It is a REALLY intense and interesting read, and it tackles a lot of important issues that we have to deal with on daily basis.

Overall, I really did enjoy this book, the writing was good, the plotting was fantastic, the characters are well presented, but like I said, I did see the plot twist coming before it did so I was a little disappointed by it. but nonetheless, still a very enjoyable read!

it is fun and mysterious. I really love it. Its like you always wonder what other suprise thats going to happen. And you will always wonder who the hell kill simon. but the ending was shocking really!. you will never guess who kill simon and i guarantee that you will scream once you knew who kill him.

ok well this is really good, it started really slow, but then it turned out being a really good story, all of the four characters have my whole heart, the way the author puts in words every single one of the povs of each character makes me so happy.
it makes it so easily to get to know every single one of them, how they think, how they get through all this mess while not loosing their minds meanwhile
i love them all, bronwyn and nate have my whole heart, i love them so much, to the point i can kinda relate to their situation at some point.
it’s actually a really good book, really good writing, and i’m so happy they are making this a show.

The beginning of the book was really good for sure a YA mystery book (not thriller) but after passing 50% it started to get a little unnecessarily long and after trying to finish so hard I had to DNF at 77%

I predicted the ending from the start but I was proud of myself for getting it right. Each character individually made me so interested. Nate and Addy especially, It was a good read :)
