How is it over already? Since 2019 I've been listening to this edition for my annual Pride and Prejudice reread and Rosamund Pike is actual perfection.

I will never ever ever ever ever get tired of Pride and Prejudice. Favorite book of all time, and every time I doubt that, I end up rereading it and it's cemented again. I've read it countless times and will read it countless more.

No surprise here- I'm delighted with it, as per usual. It's been a while since I read the original and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Jane Austen owns the hate to love and the snarky heroine and the brooding hero and I am HERE. FOR. IT.

It was a bit formal and exposition-y for my taste. But I definitely enjoyed parts and am glad to have finally read. Also Mr Darcy is my fave.

Jane Austen, nos presenta una sociedad complicada para los mas pudientes de la sociedad inglesa, sobretodo, con los protocolos y exigencias familiares para no caer en la deshonra.
Me ha gustado como con un lenguaje sencillo, nos mete de lleno en esa sociedad sin olvidarse de como vivían y actuaban en ella.
Sus paginas entretienen, aunque es verdad que hay momentos en que todo me parece muy repetitivo y puede llegar a cansar, pero enseguida te saca de eso y comienza otra trama entrelazada que te hace cambiar de opinión.
