A surprise book I found in my kindle unlimited subscription. At first I didn't like how it changed from third to first person, but once I got over that I was swept into the story. The tension is thick throughout the book, and I didn't want to put it down. Definitely an exciting thriller, but it also made me think about what happens to the family members of someone who commits a crime in this day and age. Unfortunately I don't think the author has exaggerated this part of the story, and if I am honest I think it would be hard not to blame them too. How could they not know they live with a murderer or paedophile etc. It isn't that black or white, and I think this book has opened my eyes to placing blame where it is due, and if you can't say something nice online, don't say anything at all. Highly recommend this book, and will read the second one.

OMG what a thriller... when gina discovers her husband is a serial killer and after being accused of an accomplice- people want revenge. gina and her kids find themselves on the run trying to stay safe. after buying a house on stillhouse lake can they finally settle down and have a normal life? it isn't until bodies start turning up the same way her husband killed his victims- her true identity is revealed and everyone is pointing the finger at the ex wife of a serial killer. will she run or can she clear her name and get to the bottom of who is coming after her.
