It was a little different than what I've read by the author but I was so her! Everything was perfect and all the lore was covered so beautifully and in such a unique manner. That was my first snow white retelling and I'm absolutely sure I would not get a better one even if I hunt for it.

Creative

There was so much happening in this book. Not only did the author weave her own version of this fairytale but she added in other myths and legends as well. Somehow it all worked cohesively and it was probably one of the most creative Snow White retellings I have read.

Please read the trigger warnings, it did get pretty dark at times but the HEA made up for everything.

I was engrossed with the story from start to finish. The creativity absolutely surprised me. I loved how the author included all of these different characters who continued to add to the richness of the story. It also (hopefully) will lead to this world being expended because I would love to see the tales this author can weave.

This was such a great dark and imaginative retelling of Snow White. I cannot wait to see what the author comes up with next.

I've always loved fairytales and Snow White has always been a favorite of mine. Shattered Glass has taken that story and twisted it into a dark, yet beautiful piece. Snow White is not a damsel in distress and takes her destiny by the horns.

This book is a fantasy retelling and it is pretty plot heavy. Just because it is plot heavy doesn't mean there isn't spice

Hope is rapidly dwindling, and I am hanging on by a precarious thread.
Soon there will be nothing left of me.

This book took a turn. A whole 180.
A Snow White recalling with Thor mythology with war and HEA.

I love the dynamic between Cassian and Sow White. I love that I got to see them grow together.:
"But after that time is up, I'm coming for you. We both know you're mine. We were written in the stars. You are my destiny and I am yours. So take the little time you have left. Hate me. Rage at me. Hit me if you feel the need to. But when your time is up, it's up.”
"Oh, and Snow?" She comes to a stop, head turned away.
"Remember, I'll always catch you."

Cassian has this being within him that acts so possessive of Snow White. Pretty much like thoses Werewolf Wattpad books.
I cannot breathe when he is nearby. I cannot breathe when he is
far.
The sun has returned.
Will I bask in its warmth, or burn to ash amongst its flames?
And he has a tail?! And horn?!

It was painful to read whenever SW was getting raped by her father and he was staying hidden by her side, not knowing what to do since they were both children.
This book is heavy. There are times I had to stopped reading.
 Morgana… I hate this witch.

TW: rape; confinement; abuse; child neglecting; miscarriage/forced abortion.
