A beautiful story for elementary age and older kids. I’ll share it with my kids in a year or two when they will better appreciate it. Pennys family saves their change all year to give to someone in need. It’s Penny’s turn to decide who to give it to and she has a new idea, which the family loves. But then she realizes the neighborhood “grandpa” is really sick and she has a choice to make. It’s sweet to see a child’s love and willingness to give! Perfect Christmas story!
