What a lovely book! It is a wonderful spine for Nature Study as well as a beautiful example of a nature notebook. It is fascinating and humbling to see how well educated women used to be! The quality and quantity of poetry and prose she quotes were wonderfully shocking.

This book was filled with lovely drawings, poems, little mottos and "important dates" I was fascinated with every single page. I love learning people's story and this book was incredible to hear about the history of nature in those days!
