Batwoman AND Wonder Woman! This was AWESOME! Man, I just got lost in this book! And then it ended. I'm suddenly sad... But, seriously, what a ride! Perhaps I should start it over...

I'm continuously blown away by how amazing this series is. This volume is probably the best so far, great team up and story, interesting characters and art that is out of this world.

Wonder Woman and Batwoman teaming up was amazing. The bog battle was amazing. All the fights were. This one was linear thank the Gods. It was also just fast-paced and a great ride that I wish had kept going.
I love Maggie too by the way!

I had to go knock a star off of vol. 2 because THIS is a good graphic novel and it left the other two absolutely in the dust. Batwoman teams up with Wonder Woman to fight the ever-escalating set of bad guys this series has introduced, while juggling her strained relationship with the embattled Detective Sawyer and her coerced employment under the DEO.
My only complaint with this series as a whole is that it feels rushed. This was more evident in the second volume, but this one contained a lotta text, which I don't mind but other comic readers might. The stories in this volume simply deserved more time to tell.
Still, this is now one of my all-time favorite graphic novels. The art and layouts are unique, to say the least, and the last five or six pages were awesome.

First off, JH Williams III. Great art. That’s a given. It didn’t blow me away like Volume 2 did (judging from my review of it).
It’s been over a year since I read Volume 2. That being said, I don’t think I like it as much. It felt fairly convoluted with all of these different villains that I really don’t remember.
Just like the previous volumes, there are a lot of flashbacks that help us get to know Batwoman better. While I think I liked the varying perspectives in the other books, in here it was a little annoying.
I liked the girl-power theme of it though. Batwoman realized she needed the help of someone with some mythological knowledge and kick-ass-ness and was not ashamed of asking Wonder Woman for help. It’s clear they respect each other and what they have to offer as a team.
Despite my meh feelings about it, I'll probably read the next one because I'm curious about what happens next.

I appreciate the innovative approach this series has taken towards storytelling but that's the problem. It tells too much and shows too little. This series at times feels more like a short story or prose poem with illustrations thrown in than a comic book where the visuals and the writing coincide to unveil a plot and develop characters. I wasn't too pleased with the use of Wonder Woman in this volume and the Killer Croc stuff is just too goofy for my tastes. I'm planning on reading the next volume but hopefully it will steer away from the mythological and get into a more Gotham-themed detective story highlighted with a love story that has been woven into this series from the beginning.

Much less of a mixed bag than the first two volumes. Kate teaming up with Wonder Woman proves to be a great pairing, and this has gorgeous two-page spreads from Williams in spades. Looking forward to more.

This Wonder Woman and Batwoman team up is everything I could have wanted from it. A good conclusion to the Medusa story arc, which was overall fantastic and the inclusion of Wonder Woman really elevates this comic thematically.
