Still the same easy to read, super spicy smut I’ve grown to love by Sara Cate. I didn’t love the MMC as much at the beginning so it was hard to connect to this book as much as some of the others. But the plot is believable and interesting and the story unfolds in a really satisfying way. While not relatable to me in some ways, I could relate to Maggie in other ways. I liked her from the beginning of the book. I really enjoy the books from the Salacious Player’s Club series. They go down so easy and they’re always interesting! Can’t wait for the next one.

Only Sara Cate can write a character I hate and make him into someone I understand and love. Beau has a great character arc, along with Maggie. The beginning isn't all that, slightly predictable. but once you get to the 70 percent mark it picks up. I love Sara Cate books she is simplistic in her writing style but still manages to pack so much emotion into her plots.
