You can say a lot about this, but you can also just say that it definitely deserves the good publicity, that the themes and characters really do cover every conceivable variety of the humanly and inhumanly conceivable (i.e. dreamable), and that Gaiman and the whole crew have done a very good job of getting the most out of the genre, the medium, and the ideas that go into it. Not to everyone's taste, especially since there is brutality and terror in just about every story, but still a recommendation for all friends of his work, comic noir lovers and Poe, Lovecraft & Consorts admirers.

Obsessed with this series, my only "complaint" is that some of the content was a tad too disturbing for me but that's to be expected from a horror comic, I loved the artwork a lot more than Vol 1, especially in Part 1, and the storyline is just as good as the first volume, looking back I also really appreciate how the Netflix adaptation brought the 2 volumes together

Again, Gaimans words sing softly with the absolutely amazing art inside these volumes make these comics unmissable. They go beyond the usual and that’s the best thing about them. Truly, if you are a fan of adventure, of the bizarre and unusual, these are the comic books for you. These first two volumes set up characters I just know will stay with me for the rest of my life. In dolls house, you are transported through time, to dreams and realms, to a cereal convention that is all in the name and to beautiful places shown in beautiful illustrations and words. Get these books, collect them all and pair them with the audible book, just be repaired to wait because they don’t seem to be rushing the next lot of stories on audible which is frustrating but understandable.

TV show a very faithful but more suitably aesthetic interpretation. I'm struggling with the art style too much to enjoy it.

Will not be picking up the rest of the series sadly. Will have to wait for s2.
