Feels too early to give a high rating and it's such a short novel. Intrigued enough to read the next one. Quite graphic on the violence in the name of justice, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Fair bit of spice. Looking forward to seeing more substance in the relationship than just sex (not that I mind it, but only if it digs deeper than the surface 'because they're hot') and getting into the complexities of the situation they're in.

For such a short book it expertly gets the themes, characters and story across super quickly and well. I really enjoyed it and I'll be reading the next one. Interesting concept but quite brutal at times. It'll be interesting to see if I retain empathy with her over time. The end paragraph was an excellent hook for the next one, well done to the author for this book! 👏

This book was kind of stupid but I’ve heard it gets better as the series goes on and it’s a fun, thrilling read. Also kinda curious to see what made her get to the point of murdering these awful men. I’m rooting for her lol
