I've heard a lot of praise about this series on booktube so I expected a lot, but I found it pretty cheesy. It feels like the author watched criminal minds and then decided they could write a profiling book. I still found it fun and silly and quick so I'm going to read the next book, but I don't have high hopes that I'm going to love the series

Started this as a silly silly joke, then somehow got roped in??? Extremely goofy, kind of cringe, but satisfying. Better than any of the covers make it seem, and also less graphic. Dare I say -  it's a dark romance with heart, and I am intrigued.
