So freaking much happened in this first volume that I don’t even know what to say. It was a complete whirlwind but it was fucking awesome.
RIP to my bank account since now I need the rest of the series immediately.

Just amazing. Suspenseful, nuanced and just overall a masterfully-formulated psychological thriller / mystery / crime novel. I'd read this whole series in one go if I could - can't wait to see how the story unfolds.
