Death Note, Vol. 13: How to Read by Takeshi Obata, Tsugumi Ohba

This was a pretty cool addition to the Death Note experience. Other than some character profiles, a timeline, and other tidbits that just go over things that a reader would most likely know, we also get some really interesting interviews with the creators, funny little four panel comics, the pilot chapter that started it all, and even a silly quiz to see which character you're most like. I really enjoyed this, and I think any fan of the series will as well. (You also learn L's true name!!!)

Death Note 13 offered an encyclopedic look at its characters and the world of the Death Note. While some sections felt slow, the included manga at the end was an interesting addition of Death Note world after Light was disposed on in the last volume.

I guess it's a fun addition, but there is almost no new info except L's real name. Though I liked the 4 panels.

Finished the anime today and is it too bad that I'm already missing it like my life depends on it?

Also why did I almost cry at Light's death? I hated that man. (like i literally flipped him off everytime he appeared on screen and considering he is the main character i'm surprised how my middle finger is yet attached to my metacarpels.)

These characters, good or bad, grew into me overtime. L's my absolute favourite off all time (no debate AT ALL) but what can I say, Light is that evil sexy bastard I can't get enough of

This was fun.

Nice way to conclude the series with some facts about all the characters, and add a little cliffhanger about the state of the notebook, and
SpoilerNear
.

Very nice.
