Trite

Even for a young adult novel it is trite. Too pat, too many astounding leaps of deduction, too corny of a super power.
Good author, bad book. Probably paid well though.

I loved this book way more than the last one. It's fast paced and super exciting. I really enjoyed the development within the relationships between Tory and the supporting cast. I loved that she and Whitney had a semi-nice moment at the cotillion. Kit is acting more and more like an actual dad. Ben finally opened up to Tory about how he feels. Everything is left in an interesting place and I can't wait to see what happens in the next story. I can't wait to see what Chance and that other doctor is planning.

My biggest gripe is Tory's internalized sexism is showing once again. I hated her calling the other female characters "skanks" and "bimbos." Especially characters like Whitney (her father's girlfriend), who's trying to connect with her (even if she's doing a poor job at it). She's condescending towards every girl she meets and clearly hates hyper-feminine women. I wish Tory gets a female friend at some point. Maybe a new pack member would be great.

The third book in the Viral Series is a dandy. The Virals find a geocache and that starts the gamemaster's game. The game takes the Virals all over South Carolina looking for clues but they cannot tell anyone or ask for help or someone will die. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a gripping and adventurous read.

The plot and the lessons learned are four to five star.
The teasing but illusory idea this was connected more to geocaching knocked back a star.
The writing style. So. punchy. Hormonal. Overwrought. FML. Everything. is. drama. to. an. awkward. 14. year. old. So. trite. FML. Character: Did. Not. Like. Another star down. FML.

This might be my favorite book of the series so far. I like that the pack has more trouble moving around to solve their problems, and that more people are becoming aware (or at least suspicious) of the secret. The puzzle here was also well plotted. This story kept me turning pages, very quickly.

This is my favourite book of the series, it combines our well loved characters in a more mature story that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. It sways into a YA x psychological thriller genre and was written perfectly! The twists and turns were unexpected, it was horrifying and gripping and a well rounded story!

Best book in the series. I regret putting the series on hold. the first two followed the same mold and so did this one at first but it ended so much better.
by far the best one in the series and I will definitely be coming back to it soon
