I’m not the biggest fan of the ending since the ending ends the series. I can’t figure out why. The ending does make me cry though.

I'll admit, I haven't even thought about this series since elementary school before I picked it up again about six years later. And let me tell you, I didn't regret it. I forgot how much I enjoyed Anderson's writing style and her lovable characters... I would've reread the whole series had I not lost the other two books... Regardless, this book holds a special place in my heart, and will for years to come.

This third, and final installment in the May Bird series was definitely worth the wait. The entire series is marked by wonderful humor, imagination and incredible world building. Anderson has crafted a rich, rollicking world that bursts with wonderful details. Her descriptions and dialogue and perfect. It's so easy to fall in love with the characters and become engrossed in their stories. The ending is satisfying and perfect. A wonderful read and a wonderful series.
