I liked it, but I do wish this was a full novel. I was left wanting more.

I mean I liked it. A lot. But it was so rush(would be obvious since its a novella). Like so many unclear stuff. So did I just like skip some part or what? So did Liam find a new job? So Mara just kept on living in the house? They obviously became gf and bf but HUH? Well, I mean it was light and super entertaining so I shouldn’t even be complaining right now tbh. And Liam suddenly jumping on her was weird as hell but hm, ok, ok.

this was the corniest book i ever read but i will continue to read ali hazelwood's books oNLY because of the stem aspects. not the romance parts, they're too corny. don't read if you don't ironically like corniness. 3.5/5 because i love enemies to lovers. realistically, it'd be like a 2.5 if it was just friends to lovers tbh.

It’s fine, but nothing special. There aren’t any major surprises. Also, the story starts with a sexual scene of dubious consent, which was completely jarring to me.
