Good book. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't let the awful cover influence me. I couldn't help but read Banger's dialogue in a robotic or Sean Connery-esque manner. I mean, that cover is terrible. Just terrible. I read the rest of the series and will continue on with any future books so I really didn't want to not read this one. I honestly believe that the cover threw me off.

This book much like the previous books in the Insurgents MC series has a great background plot going on. I sadly wasn't so much into Banger, he had some major screw ups and while I enjoyed his alpha male personality it came off as a bit pushy at times. With Belle being a bit pushy was good, but to mope about when she says she's spending the night with her children? Idk, I'm having a bit of a love hate thing going on with him.

The mystery behind who killed Belle's husband however! Wow that took me for a spin. The opening makes it sound like Belle did it, then you get to reading and it gets to a point where you realize that no it wasn't Belle. I was able to figure out who it was before the climax, but the whole situation still ended up throwing me for a loop.

4 Stars! (can't wait for the next book!)

Banger, President of the Insurgents MC, never thought he would find love again. When his woman passed away, he figured that was it but when he meets Belle Dermot, something shifts.

Belle doesn't need to get involved in a relationship, she is a widower whose husband betrayed and cheated on her. Trust doesn't come easy but when Banger pursues her, Belle can't deny the attraction but can she trust him. Trying to raise two children her priorities are set, but Banger inserts himself into her life and the kids. It is not smooth sailing though as there is betrayal happening in the MC and Belle has her own set of problems.

Enjoyable read. I liked Banger, he struggles with his new found feelings plus he has a daughter of his own. I thought the emotions brewing between the children were spot on, you could understand the conflicting emotions. the way the story unfolded was fantastic, great read.

I just can't with this book. I wanted to reach inside the book and throttle the life out of Belle. She is one of the most horrible h that I've ever read in a book. She let her daughter walked all over her, she's too stupid to see that her supposedly BFF is a horrible person and she's such a doormat. Banger is a nice enough dude and I feel that the author did his character a major disservice by pairing him with someone like Belle. It's such a shame because the premise of the book is okay with me, I just have an intense dislike for Belle.
