Oh man. Where to begin. I thought the first book broke me, I was wrong. This was something else.
Beautiful torture is how I would describe this book. Grips your heart and squeezes till it hurts, then eases enough to lure you back, the crushes it.. but in such a way you’re craving more. I sobbed and cursed my through this book, more so than the first, and yet, I am craving more. I’ll be miserable when I reach the end of this series.

Wow.... a reading journey that takes your heart and squeezes it, that plays with your emotions, makes you gasp, scream and hope you never arrive at the end. I lost so many hours sleep as I flew through this amazing book - I was incapable of putting it down.

It's a dark, gritty and determined fantasy. The author keeps you suspended in anticipation as she takes the deeply damaged, yet amazingly strong, main character through trials, love and persecution.

The Last Witch is a read you will never forget. M. J. Lawrie is an author you will reach for again and again. Sublime.

Too long. I basically gave up and skipped from chapter 10 to 33 and it recapped most of what I missed at the end so basically, just skip it.
